Awesome product for the price I paid! I couldn't even find one at walmart for what I paid for this one. And it works great!!!

Designed such that the filter paper frequently collapses inside, causing lots of grinds in each pot (unless you stand there with your fingers or a spook and wet the paper, sticking the wet edges to the inside walls of the filter compartment).

It worked okay. Then, one morning the clock was flashing. I figured it was due to a power outage. I could not get the unit to respond. All the mechanical workings are still fine. The main power to the unit is fine. But, I cannot get it to work because of the failed electronics.

In an attempt to break my daily coffee shop habit I purchased this coffee maker. So far it has been perfect - timer and clock work perfectly, no significant issues. I have only used the large basket filters (didn't know there was a smaller size) - as a result at times the filter flops over when the water runs through and the coffee doesn't taste as strong as I would like. A proper sized filter would solve this - and it only happens when I am not careful about inserting the larger filter correctly.

As with all coffee makers this one measures by the standard 5oz = 1 Cup. Some people find that frustrating (my husband included) - but as long as you take that into account when brewing, this coffee pot is a great solution for the smaller batch coffee with the added plus of a small countertop footprint and a timer not usually found in coffee pots this size.

My husband and I like to each have one mug of coffee in the morning.
We tried another coffeemaker after the Mr. Coffee 4 cup (actually two
mugs) that we had for years finally gave out. We had to return the other brand coffeemaker because it dripped when we poured from it.
This one doesn't drip and brews quickly. We have well water and it it
hard on the appliances that use water. This coffemaker held up well.
We will stick with Mr. Coffee also for the value. The price is right.
