Love this beans...good, light in oil, nutty-chocolatty flavor. Great when grinded fine and compacted well on high-pressure esspreso machine

These beans were good. I got two big bags with my order and gave one bag to a friend as a gift to make more space in my freezer. Now I wish I hadn't given away those beans, lol. They are pretty darn good and better than the last two Starbucks beans I got.

The price seemed too good to be true. Italian coffee beans for my good espresso machine at a great price. Well, turns out that you get what you pay for: nice packaging but the lowest of the low quality robusta coffee beans (with some arabica, I guess to make it seem "classy". Unfortunately, the smell and flavor give it away immediately. This is very bad coffee, very light in color, off in flavor whether made into espresso or used in drip. Buyer beware. This is cheap quality packaged to mask it's true nature. Don't buy, or prepare to be disappointed.

I bought this coffee about a month ago, I decided to tried it because it was on discount. I can tell you that if you like italian coffee you are going to LOVE this one.

Like another reviewer, I've been on a search for a less expensive coffee to replace my Starbucks addiction. This one doesn't even come close... seems weak no matter how much I use per cup. Tastes like bad coffee at a roadside cafe. If you are a fan of Starbucks or Illy, look elsewhere as this will be a big disappointment to you.
