Excellent value
I bought this kettle so that I could make tea in my office and, in the year that I have owned it, has served me extremely well. The kettle holds approximately 32 oz. of water, so I get two cups per kettle, even with my gargantuan 16oz mug. The kettle heats to boiling and then shuts off, which is an excellent safety feature, especially for me who might run out of my office when it's on. The only downside for me is that the kettle can be kind of slow to heat from cold. I've found it to be no faster than a kettle on my stove, so I don't bother to use this at home. But in the office where I don't have a full kitchen, this serves me well, and you can't beat the price. 2008-06-23

Great little kettle
This kettle is great for day-to day use, preparing tea or supplemental for cooking. Doesn't take up too much space and the cord unplugs once you're done heating the water. 2008-06-14

For the price, it's tolerable
Quite simply, you can't beat $15 on amazon. The biggest and most annoying drawback to this is the electrical cord that plugs into the product. Most of the Braun's have a charging station, so you can pick up the pitcher off the charger and not worry about the dangling cords. In this case, the cord is attached to it, so you either have it dangling around as you pour the boiling water, or you have to unplug it, which, really isn't that big of a deal, but compared to the Braun's where you just pick it up, it's kind of annoying to have to fumble with an electrical cord. Not to mention the length of the cord is retardedly short.
Also, when I first received the product, it emitted a REALLY terrible plasticky smell the first few boils. I washed it with soap and water, and most of the smell has vanished.
Personally, I think I would've just went with a Braun had I known, but it is $25-35 more expensive. I've used them before with a former roommate and have absolutely no complaints about them.

Saves time and money!
This kettle is a very good value. It heats a liter/quart of water to a full boil in about five minutes. Also, it doesn't heat up the kitchen the way my ceramic stove-top kettle does, so it saves me on AC. 2008-06-09

Electric kettle makes a good cup of tea
This electric kettle heats up quickly, shuts itself off, and does exactly what it is supposed to. I'd give it an A+! 2008-06-08
