Bodum 34-Ounce Coffee Press Replacement Beaker, Glass

I bought this to replace a a Bodum beaker which was broken during moving and storage. Replacement is simple but you must have a very narrow straight blade screwdriver for the handle. The replacement works and I can't ask for much more than that.

Makes the best cup of coffee in town. Worth replacing the glass when you drop it.

The capacity of this beaker is 32 ounces (4 cups), not 8 cups (64 ounces).

I love the Bodum press. Makes great coffee. I'm glad Amazon carries these spares because we broke our first one. They are delicate.

Perfect fit in my Krupps press. As has been mentioned before, Bodum's beaker sizing is a little misleading. The 8-cup size is your average-sized press and means 8 4-oz "cups," not the normal 8-oz cups. 4-oz is a pretty small cup of coffee; seems that most mugs are about 8-oz. So if you're thinking, "I never get 8 cups of coffee out of my press, it's more like 3 or 4 full mugs," this is probably the right caraffe.
