Bad Coffee Maker
I was told a few months after giving this coffee maker for a gift, that it didn't work, and never had. I felt really bad that I had given such a bad product for a gift.

Not for Italians
If you're an Italian and live outside of the country don't buy this item, you won't like the kind of coffee that you get. Cappuccino comes out ok but again the machine doesn't have steam so you can't make a real expresso, cappucino and so on.

If you've had an older Delonghi, you won't like this one!
I had an old Delonghi and, noting the positive reviews on this one, I decided to order a new unit. It is much lighter in weight, a fact that I consider a big negative in an espresso maker. Also, the froth tube does not extend away from the unit -- this is terrible! I could go on about the quality of this unit but I believe these 2 things are most important. I think it's best to find one in a store that you like and come back to Amazon for reviews and possible purchase.

My girlfriend loves it!
I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. It makes amazing cappuccino and it pays for itself after about 10 cups made at home instead of going to Star*ucks.

Men, buy it for your coffee loving woman.

Yummy cappacinos
I bought this machine solely to make cappacinos. I didn't want to spend alot and looked at several machines, I chose this one b/c it was so reasonably priced and also got very good reviews. I've been using it for several months and am very happy with it. The first couple of times I used the frother it didn't seem to be doing a very good job so I took it off and used a toothpick to make sure the 3 holes were open/clear and that seemed to do the trick, works great ever since. I also bought a stainless steel frothing pitcher which I would recommend, it keeps the frothed milk really hot. Nice little machine and it even looks great on the countertop! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is b/c the placement of the frother makes it a little awkward to get to.
