Buy from your local stores
I don't why I bought it. In Wal-mart you will find cheaper and better products.

JUNK design
While sounding like a good idea, terrible engineering skills were applied. A cup here means a TINY cup. What's the point if I can't even use a coffee mug? The area to pour the water in is also narrow, and you wind up splashing some into the coffee container that is right next to it all the time. To top it off, apparently the thing doesn't seal well and the coffee grounds wind up bubbling into the water container so that the latter is always dirty. BAD.

Just one cup whenever I want it!
I work alone in a small school library. Currently, I am going through the entire collection, getting rid of old, unread books, then processing the keepers for automation. It is a tedious process. After lunch every day I literally fall asleep. Something had to be done!! I needed coffee!!

I began looking for a 4-cup coffeemaker to buy and take to school (thinking that's as small as a unit comes). Then I spotted the one-cup-at-a-time units! I like Black & Decker products and I prefer white appliances, so this Cup-at-a-Time Coffeemaker caught my attention at once. In addition, I always read reviews for product evaluation. This one ranked high.

It's at school now, near my computer, and in its little work area containing two mugs, spoon, creamer, sugar. It's a delightful little machine, designed to please just one person at a time. And it does.

(Note: Just one detraction: A mug does not pour well. At first, I found it difficult to pour water into the well without spilling any. Solved that problem by buying a plastic measuring cup with a spout. No spills now!)

just OK
Makes an adequate cup of coffee. I find it hard to get the water in without dampening the filter basket, but if I take the basket out first, I'm good. If you like STRONG coffee, this is not the maker for you as extra coffee grounds will spew back up into the works and be hard to remove. I'm also adding a paper filter (technically unnecessary) to slow the water through the grounds for more strength, and that helps. If you just like ordinary coffee, this maker does get the job done.
