A drop in the ocean of reviews but...
AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker

My daughter just gave me this AeroPress for dad's day and I thought what a lot of people thought,

".. it can not possibly do what it says it does." I remember thinking that my daughter just had no idea what it takes to make a great shot of espresso...

Obviously, she does. Either that or she'd been reading these reviews.

I took it out the next day and pressed out a 3 shot Americano. It takes a bit of upper body strength to push the air driven water through 3 shots worth of finely ground coffee but when it was finished, from the 1st sip I knew, this was Barista quality espresso. I texted my daughter immediately and told her how wonderful it was and thanked her profusely. The clean up is effortless and even if it were more difficult, I'd still use this puppy over and over (as I have)

I over caffeinated myself the next few days. I've since calmed down and have finally come to the full realization that I have the luxury of a top notch espresso maker in my possession.

At any price, this would be worth every penny. For under $30, it is a treasure.

Great product
This makes the best coffee ever. No bitter after taste. So much better than any other coffee maker that I have tried.

Great for a cup or two
I've had this a couple of weeks now, and this is all I use now for making coffee for myself. Others have written about the finer points and techniques, and I can't really improve on their suggestions. This is so simple and easy to use that you really can't go wrong with it.

AeroPress, Outstanding Value
This is the second AeroPress I own. This device is so easy to use that I now have one at home and another in my vehicle or case for when I have the urge for a really good cup of coffee without paying high prices. It is American designed & MADE in USA product !! The hardest part of making coffee now is waiting for the boiling water.
1) Place filter in holder & twist on cover.Place on cup or mug. 2) Add coffee, amount is up to you, comes with measuring spoon. 3) Add almost boiling water to level you want & then stir(Stirrer also provided) for about 30 seconds.Stop stirring place plunger over top and slowly press down till all coffee is in mug and you are done !! You now have an espresso strength coffee or you can add more hot water to bring it to the desired strength you want. Untwist filter holder, save filter (reusable) and push puck of coffee grounds out. I recycle them in my garden. Well worth the price.

Fast, Clean & Excellent Cup of Coffee
We've got an excellent product here: It's fast, it's simple, clean-up is literally (20) seconds, and it produces a fine cup of coffee. "Clean" is the word that defines Aeropress'ed coffee for me. It gives you the ability to make espresso at home, which brings you (3) steps closer to an after-dinner latte fix. Also, you can save about Sixbucks and make your own pro-quality coffee at work.

My local coffee fella told me that in the end, I'll still prefer coffee from my French Press over coffee from the AeroPress. When it comes to food, it makes sense that the French wouldn't lose, and my coffee guy was correct here: I rate the FPress a 10 and the Aeropress an 8. The difference in rating is personal, but I like a little grit with my brew. By comparison, drip pulls in a 5 for me. I had lousy experiences with a vacuum pot and rate them a 1 for 1mpossible.

Overall, you cannot go wrong with this product. It delivers more than promised. (ps - It would make a wonderful Christmas gift).
